Gabriel "Gabe" Zachary Wilson

Gabriel Zachary Wilson, 53, of Bennington, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.

Born in Phoenix, Arizona, Gabe was the beloved son of Rebecca (Ehrsam) and Steve Wilson. He graduated from Solomon High School and went on to become a dedicated grocery store owner, serving his community with warmth and reliability for many years.

Gabe was a passionate fan of Kansas State University athletics and the Dallas Cowboys, often spending weekends cheering on his teams. His love for music was a defining part of his life, and he cherished attending concerts with his children, creating lasting memories through shared experiences and favorite songs. He also loved being a part of his children's athletics, coaching and cheering them on throughout school.

He is survived by his daughter, Alyssa Wilson; son, Kian Wilson; sister, Kassie Hinson; brother, Jason Holt (Emily); and his parents, Rebecca and Steve. Gabe was preceded in death by his father, Gary Gilbert; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

A memorial gathering to honor Gabe’s life will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Wednesday, November 5th at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home in Salina, Kansas.

The family kindly requests that donations be made to his children, in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home.

Gabe will be remembered for his generous spirit, his love for family, and the joy he brought to those around him.
