Glen Ellery Swedhin Glen Ellery Swedhin, 82, of Salina, passed away, Tuesday, February 8th, 2011 at Kenwood View Rehab & Health Care. Glen was born in Buena Vista, CO on May 31, 1928, the son of the late Walter and Florence (Cooper) Swedhin. He graduated from Rocky Ford High School in 1947 in Rocky Ford, CO and worked for Coca-Cola as a Route Salesman for 29 years Survivors include: Daughter: Linda Simmons and husband Richard of Salina, KS. Sisters: Lucille Blanchard of Grand Junction, CO., Doris Stahlecker of Texas., Yvonne Kunau wife of Dale of Rush, CO. Brothers: Vivian O. Swedhin of Pueblo, CO., Oliver Swedhin of Colorado Springs, CO.; Grandsons: Steven Alan Simmons of Salina, KS and Lucas Tyler Simmons of Salina, KS. At the family's request there will be no visitation and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Family request donations to be made to the Grandchildren C/o the Funeral Home.
