Gloria Belle Hoover, 99, of Salina, passed away Sunday, January 18th, at Smoky Hill Rehabilitation Center. Gloria was born in Blue Rapids, Kansas on February 4, 1915, to the late Clarinda (Cronkite) and James Padgett. Gloria worked as a housekeeper. She is preceded in death by her husband Whetzel Hoover, who died in 2003. Graveside services will be at 9:00 a.m., Friday, January 23, 2015 at Gypsum Hill Cemetery, with Pastor John Fillipi, officiating.
