Gwendolyn L. Dalton

Salina, Kansas Gwendolyn L. Dalton Gwendolyn L. Dalton, 66, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Salina Regional Health Center. Gwendolyn was born in Salina, Kansas on December 6, 1947, to the late Joycelyn G. (Richardson) Granger and Sam Sparks. She worked as a cosmetologist and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Salina and also, a member of University United Methodist Church in Salina. She was the wife of James B. Dalton, they were married November 6, 1971, in Salina. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Amanda J. Dalton, of Salina, a son; Jason Dalton, of Salina, two brothers; Sam Sparks and wife, Tracy, of Salina and Casey Sparks and wife, Leigh Ann of Salina. Preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Sherry Sanborn. A Memorial Service will be held at University United Methodist Church in Salina, at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 3, 2014, with Pastor Mike Rose, officiating. At the family's request there will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
