Hariett D. "Deanne" Peat

Salina, Kansas Harriett Deanne Peat Harriett D. 'Deanne' Peat, 78, of Salina, passed away Friday, March 11th. Deanne was born in Garden City, Kansas on February 18, 1938, to the late Martha Joan (Turhune) and Harry W. Harms. She worked as the secretary at Garden City High School. Deanne did a lot of volunteer work at the Senior Center in Garden City, Kansas and was also a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge in Garden City. Survivors include her daughters, Cindy Chambers, wife of Phil, of LaVeta, Colorado, and Tracy Peat, of Salina; as well as granddaughter, Kelsey Chambers. Deanne is preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Schaffer. Cremation has been chosen and no services are planned at this time.
