Harry Gene Fuller, of Salina, died March 1, 2012, after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Salina, Kansas on May 8, 1933. He was preceded in death by his father Harry E. Fuller and his mother Edith (Brown) Fuller in 1935, also his step mother of many years, Elizabeth Raney Fuller; brothers, Raymond Fuller, Bud Fuller, and Richard K. Fuller; sister, Doris Koepsel. He is survived by his Wife Vonda of 58 years of marriage, his 3 children, Michelle 'Mickey' Evans of Lee's Summit, Missouri, Denise Cotton of Lee's Summit, Missouri and son, Harry Jene 'Jino' Fuller of Salina; grandchildren, Jennifier Murry, Troy Graham, Dalaina Evans, Deidra Cotton, Amber Cotton, all of Lee's Summit, Missouri, Joel Cotton of St. Louis, Missouri, Brendon Fuller of Denver, Colorado, Jason Allen of Salina; as well as 6 Great Grandchildren. He was a graduate of Abilene High School. Harry retired from the Air Force in 1972. He then attended Mary Mount College. He was a licensed Manufacturing Engineer, working for many years for Premier Pneumatics, Van Dorn Systems and ADM Milling. He also did contract engineering. In later years, he joined his wife at Fuller Upholstery and Interiors. He is a member of the VFW, American Legion, and DAV. He had many hobbies, Genealogy being fore most. He spent many hours doing research on his family and many other families. He enjoyed photography, professionally documenting their many trips. He was an artist who painted mostly landscapes, showing his love for history and nature. Chapel Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 5th at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, Salina, Kansas, with Amy Bowers officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 4, 2012 from 2 pm - 8 pm at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6 pm - 8 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Salina, 730 Holly Lane, Box 2238, Salina, Kansas.
