Helen L. Saylor

Helen L. Saylor, 81, of Salina, KS, passed away from stroke complications on Tuesday, October 16th, at Smoky Hill Rehabilitation Center . Helen was born in Urbandale, Iowa on October 18, 1930, to the late Thelma and James Rudkin. She was a graduate of Urbandale High School in Urbandale, Iowa. On March 20, 1948 she married Lawrence G. 'Larry' Saylor. Helen was a homemaker and mother. She belonged to the Salina First United Methodist Church. Helen is survived by her daughter, Pat (Jim) Lennox, of Salina; sister, Dorothy Hollebrands, of Des Moines, Iowa; grandchildren, Nicke (Doug) Stevenson, Scott (Diana) Saylor, Jeff Saylor, Shane (Sherry) Saylor, Nathan Lennox, Michelle Forcade, and Cheryl Forcade; as well as, eleven great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry; son, Steven Saylor; 3 brothers; and one sister. A memorial service will be held at at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, Salina, Kansas, at 2:00pm on Saturday, October 20th.
