Helen Marie Gillmore

Helen Marie Gillmore, 92, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Friday, May 3rd, at the Salina Presbyterian Manor. Helen was born in Rural Salina, Kansas on February 13, 1927, a daughter of the late Eva (Chapman) and Samuel Gillmore. Survivors include her brother, Lee R. Gillmore (Elaine); nieces, Mary Genz (Keith), Donna Leeper (Chris); great nephews, Nick Genz, Ryan Leeper, and great niece, Megan Leeper. Helen graduated from Kansas State University, and taught home economics at the Beloit High School for many years. Helen requested private graveside services with family and burial at Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina. Memorials may be made to the University United Methodist Church, in care of the funeral home.
