Jack Beverly, Jr. Jack Beverly, Jr., 82, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, November 5th, at Holiday Resort. Jack was born in Luray, Kansas on November 12, 1930, son of the late Maybelle (Middlekauff) and Jack Beverly, Sr. As well as owning and operating Beverly Wholesale Meat, in Salina, Jack's passion was farming and ranching in Russell, Kansas. He was also an avid Kansas University Basketball fan, loved baseball, and played for the St. Louis Cardinals for 2 years. Survivors include daughter, Gina Addison and husband David, of Covington, Louisiana; son, Jack Beverly III, of Salina, Kansas; three grandsons, Ryan Beverly, of Fort Collins, Colorado, Grant Addison, of Covington, Louisiana, and Andrew Addison, of Covington, Louisiana. Jack is preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Joan. At the family's request there will be no visitation A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, November 8, 2013 at First Presbyterian Church, Salina, Kansas, with Pastor Sue Coller officiating. Burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Park Salina, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Way of Salina, 128 N Santa Fe Ave, Salina, KS 67401.
