Jack Raymond Donabauer

Jack Raymond Donabauer, 88, of Pilot Point, Texas, passed away May 13, 2019. Jack was born in Barnard, Kansas on February 5, 1931, a son of the late Blanche (Loy) and Ray Donabauer. He lettered all 4 years at Barnard High School in Basketball, Baseball and Football. Jack proudly served in the United States Air Force and was in Germany for 3 years. He worked at Orscheln Farm and Home and sold for ProAg Supply for about 20 years. Survivors include daughter, Pamela Meltzer and husband Hal, of Olathe, Kansas; brother, Mike Donabauer and wife Jill, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; 2 grandchildren, Nicholas Meltzer of Olathe, Kansas, and Sterling Meltzer of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son, Rick Donabauer and sister, Pat (Donabauer) Gorton. At the family's request there will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM, May 24, 2019 at Milo Cemetery, Barnard, Kansas.
