James Bruce Smith, 82, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, April 8th, at Salina Regional Health Center. James was born in Augusta, Kansas on October 28, 1931, son of the late Helen (Fields) and Daniel L Smith. Survivors include brother, Dan A., husband of Ursula Smith, of Aptos, California; sisters, Carole Anderson, and husband Virgil of Salina, Kansas, Darlene Gebhardt, of Salina, Kansas, Sylvia Quested, of Salina, Kansas, Dorothy Shane, of Lompoc, California; and many nieces and nephews. James is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard Smith. At the family's request there will be no visitation or service as cremation has taken place.
