James Edward "Jim" Hardin

James Edward Hardin, 66, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Sunday, August 7th, 2022. Jim was born in Lonestar, Texas on June 26, 1956, a son of the late Wilma (Weis) Fraser and Angus L. Hardin. He served in the United States Navy. Survivors include his companion, Marcia Lemman, of Salina, Kansas; three daughters, Beki Hardin, (Matt McDermott), of Selma, North Carolina, April Aten, of Lillington, North Carolina, Courtney Hardin, (Levi Hickman), of Minneapolis, Kansas; son, Cory Hardin (Bobbi), of Abilene, Kansas; 15 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and many more that called him grandpa. He is also survived by three sisters, Peggy Richard (Kenny), of St. George, Kansas, Nancy Ledgerwood, of Wichita, Kansas, and Joyce Shafer, of Rochelle, Illinois. He is preceded in death by his sister, Linda Baccus and step-father, Lee Fraser. Visitation will be held 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, Monday, August 15th at Carlson - Geisendorf Funeral Home & Crematory in Salina, Kansas. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 15th at the funeral home. Cremation will take place after the funeral and burial will be at a later date. Donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
