James Lee Wilbur, 79, of Solomon, Kansas passed away Friday, February 07, at Salina Regional Health Center. James was born in Salina, Kansas on August 5, 1934, to the late Ida Mae (Yockers) and John Edward Wilbur. He was the husband of Betty J. (Smith) Wilbur and she survives. Survivors include daughters, Christie Christopher, wife of Tom Christopher, of Tampa, Florida, and Kimberly Kay, wife of Wayne L. Winter, of Salina; son John Lee, husband of Karen Wilbur, of Ogden, Utah; sister Verneda, wife of Ellis Ingle, of Wichita, Kansas; brother, Ronald, husband of Sue Wilbur, of Raymondville, Texas; as well as grandchildren, Jaime, Kevin, Ashley, Amanda, Aaron, Courtney, Jessica, and Luke; great-grandchildren, John, Madison, and Micheal. Visitation will be at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 11, 2014. Family will greet friends from 4-7. Memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 12th at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, with Fr. James Hake officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Jim’s grandchildren’s educational fund. Memorials may be sent in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S.
