Janet Marie Thornhill Janet Marie Thornhill, 55, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Monday, November 18th, 2013. Janet was born in Norton, Kansas on February 24, 1958, daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth (Roeder) and James Newton Reyer. She was a manager of the Regis Hair Salon in Salina and manager for McDonalds in Topeka and Lawrence. On July 30, 1977, Janet married Greg Thornhill. Survivors include her husband, Greg; brothers, Larry Reyer, Alan Reyer, Mike Reyer; sisters, Nancy Drake, Barbara Brown, Kandi Gibson, and Lorraine Phillips. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Terry Reyer. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm, November 21, 2013 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Salina, Kansas, with Pastor Kent Happel officiating. At the family's request there will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tammy Walker Cancer Center, 511 S. Santa Fe, Salina, Kansas.
