Jerome Allen Hein

Jerome Allen Hein, 72, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Friday, June 10th. Jerome was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin on June 19, 1943, a son of the late Gertrude Emile (Bienhoff) and Allen Clarence Hein. He taught English, Drivers Education, Coached sports and later in life worked for Tamko and UPS. Survivors include brother-in-law, Leland Rahjes, and wife Linda, of Kensington, Kansas; nieces, Risa Bayliff (Steve), Tonya Lee (Justin); great-niece, Emily Bayliff; Great nephews, Trevor Bayliff, Camden Lee, Colsen Lee; and extended family, Leonard Rahjes, wife Genny (Robben), Luke Rahjes and Charyne Rahjes. He is preceded in death by his sister, Judith Hein Rahjes. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 14th, from 9:00 am - 8:00 pm at Carlson - Geisendorf Funeral Home with family present from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at St. John Lutheran Church, Kensington, Kansas, at 11:30 am on Thursday, June 16th, with Pastor Lorna Paulus officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Kensington, Kansas.
