Salina, KS Jerry Gene Davis Jerry Gene Davis, 72, of Culver, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, October 8th, at his residence. Jerry was born in Enterprise, Kansas on August 19, 1942, to the late Edith (Bidwell) and LeRoy Davis. He was employed as an iron worker and a member of the Ironworkers Union Local #481 in Dallas, Texas. He was the husband of Patricia (Stamper) Davis. Jerry is survived by his wife; a daughter, Venus Davis, of Culver, Kansas; sons, Ronnie Davis, of Culver, Kansas, and Jesse Davis, of Culver, Kansas; sisters, Esther Cyphers and husband, Dan, of Newton, Kansas, Rose Schriner and husband, Delbert, of Canton, Kansas, and Florence Davis, of Salina, Kansas; brother, LeeRoy Davis and wife, Linda, of Battle Creek, Michigan; granddaughters, Elizibeth Ernst and husband, Joel of Salina, and Patricia Velasquez and husband, Jon, of Culver, Kansas; grandsons, Shayne Davis and wife, Alicia, of Salina, Samuel Davis, of Culver, Kansas; and Johnny G. Davis, of Culver, Kansas; as well as great-grandchildren, Ayden, Jerry R., Arsen, Azayea, and Nakyia. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Donald Gebhardt and Everette Gebhardt. A Memorial Service will be held at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 13th, 2014. Cremation has been chosen and there will not be visitation.
