Jerry Wayne Griggs

Jerry Wayne Griggs, 59, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Sunday, July 19th, at his residence surrounded by family and friends. Jerry was born in West Ridge, Arkansas on September 26, 1955, to the late Eutha (Wyiott) and Ernest Griggs. Jerry served in the United States Army and worked as a transmission mechanic. He was the widower of Patricia Griggs. Jerry is survived by his step sons Toby, husband of Heavenly McQuillan, of Weskan, Kansas, and Billy, husband of Jeni McQuillan, of Gypsum, Kansas; as well as 10 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Patricia. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 24, at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at the First Baptist Church, at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 25th, with Pastor Dave Walters officiating. Interment will follow in Gypsum Hill Cemetery.
