Jo Ann "Jody" Temple

Jo Ann Temple, 89, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Sunday, October 9th. Jody was born in Washington, Kansas on April 13, 1927, a daughter of the late Frances (Saip) and Alden Longwell. She was an Elementary School Teacher. Survivors include daughter, Robin Hendrickson, and husband Don, of Riverside, California; son, Mark Temple, and wife Michelle, of Sealy, Texas; son-in-law, Huel Mills, of Salina, Kansas; brother, Jerry Longwell and wife Maudell, of Southlake, Texas; and special friends, Belinda and Steve Rock, of Salina, Kansas. As well as 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Jody is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; brother, Alden R. Longwell; and daughters, Christie Mills and Laurel Hanson. At the family's request there will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm, on Monday, October 17th at Trinity United Methodist Church, Salina, Kansas, with Rev. Barry Dundas officiating.
