Joan Kay Randle, 95, of Clay Center, Kansas, passed away Monday, April 6, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Joan was born May 6, 1930, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Louise (Love) and Kenneth McMain.
Joan was a devoted, full-time mother and also worked alongside her husband, Arvin, in the family farm and greyhound business. Her greatest passion was her family, and she was always present for sporting events, family gatherings, and special moments. Joan enjoyed golfing, bridge, hunting, and she was actively involved at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. She also participated in the knitting club and volunteered at Lighthouse for Christ thrift shop.
Survivors include her daughter, Marla Dauer (Steve) of Assaria; her son, Marc Randle (Susie) of Morganville; grandchildren, Troy Oliver of Salina, Drew Oliver of Salina; great grandchildren, Meghan Oliver of Kansas City, Alison Arbuckle (Dalton) of Salina; and great great-grandson, Brooks Arbuckle of Salina. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Boyd Arvin Randle; her son, Brad; her stepfather, Chet Kent; and her sister, Geraldine.
Joan’s wishes were to be cremated, and a private family service will take place at a later time.
The family requests donations to St. Paul's Episcopal Church in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home.
