John Burton Pinder

John Burton Pinder, 73, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, November 5th, 2024.
John was born in Concordia, Kansas on September 9, 1951, to Chauncy and Marie Pinder.
John and Mary Ann (Zachmann) Pinder were married August 19th, 1977.
After graduating from Salina High School, he received his degree in electrical engineering. He later started working as a General Manager at Little Valley Nursery in Brighton, Colorado, where he fulfilled his passion of growing and nurturing plants. In 2012, he was Colorado Nurseryman of the Year.
In John's free time, he enjoyed going to the mountains, photography, yard work, and birding.
Survivors include his two step sons, Mike Fuller (Mechelle), Mark Fuller (Judy); and brother Bob Pinder (Bernadette).
He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Andrew, Mallory, Curtis, Kristi, David, Kelly, Katie; and 14 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Pinder and parents.
Cremation has been chosen and a memorial service will take place for John and his wife, Mary, at 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 16th, 2024 at St. John Lutheran Church in Ellis, Kansas with Pastor John Anderson officiating.
Burial will follow at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Ellis, Kansas.
