John W. Wolsieffer

John W Wolsieffer, 96, of Salina, passed away Thursday, October 6th. John was born in Rural Saline County, Kansas on March 26, 1920, to the late Nettie O. (Mapes) and Stanley J. Wolsieffer. He was a Clerk at the United States Post Office for over 30 years and was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church. Survivors include his nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his wife, Jean; 2 sisters; and 3 brothers. At the family's request there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Salina, Kansas, at 10:00 am on Tuesday, October 11th, with Father Luke Thelan, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
