Johnny Joe Thayer

Johnny Joe Thayer, 61, of Salina, KS, passed away Sunday, November 29th. Johnny was born in Salina, Kansas on September 8, 1954, a son of the late Alberta (Rollet) and Alvin Thayer. Survivors include a daughter, Penny Thayer, of Salina; sister, Eulah Johnson and husband, James of Salina; brother, Bob Thayer of Salina; and grandson, Johnny Thayer He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Johnny Thayer; sister, Kathy DeGraw and brother, Harold Thayer At the family's request there will be no visitation. A Graveside Memorial service will be held at Gypsum Hill Cemetery in Salina, at 10:00 am on Friday, December 4th, with Pastor Jon Fillipi officiating. The family request memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Salina, or to Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, to help with final expenses.
