Jose Rubio Rodelo

Jose Rubio Rodelo, 62, of Salina, passed away Saturday, December 19th. Jose was born in Juarez, Mexico, on March 19, 1958, the son of the late Maria E. R. Rodelo and Urbano Calderon. Jose had worked for Advanced Auto in the shipping and receiving for many years. He married Carolyn Crisp on December 16, 1995, in Commerce City, Colorado. They were married for 25 years, and 3 days. He and Carolyn attended the Emmanuel Foursquare Church in Salina for many years. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; step daughter, Jamie Noble, of Independence, Kansas; stepson, Joseph David, of Parsons; step-grandchildren, Christopher Privitt and Roger David. Jose is also survived by sisters, Maria Sarinana, of Midland, Texas, Teresa Aranda, of Midland, Texas, Ramona Burciaga, of Salina, Kansas; brothers, Manuel Rodelo, of Midland, Texas, Jesse Aranda, of Midland, Texas; nieces and nephews, Lorenzo and Brenda Rubio; Chanda, Marlin, Ricky, and Crystal Aranda; Samantha and Sebastian Baeza; Sergio, Nichole, and Joe Grando; Max, Armando, Marine, Lupita, Joanna Sarinana, Manuel, Miguel, Richard and Cathy Rodelo, Robert and Margaret Valdez. Jose was preceded in death by his sister, Emelda Valdez; brother, Lorenzo Rodelo; and nephew, Nicholas Granado. Cremation has been chosen and a Memorial Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
