Kenneth Dean Germann

Kenneth Dean Germann, 82, of Council Grove, passed away Saturday, October 17th, 2015. Kenneth was born in Alta Vista, Kansas on October 24, 1932, a son of the late Ethel (Ross) and Albert R. Germann. Ken graduated from Alta Vista High School in 1951. Survivors include his brother, Don Germann of Leawood, Kansas, sister, Alberta Heideman of Alma, Kansas; sons, Al Germann of Sherman, Texas, David Germann of Wichita, Kansas and a daughter, Esther Carlson of Solomon, Kansas; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Anita Cobb. Graveside inurnment will be at Welcome Cemetery (approx. 7 mi north of Alta Vista to the Welcome Cemetery Road and 1 mile west to the old Hwy 13 Rd) at 10:00 am on Friday, October 23rd, 2015. At the family's request there will be no visitation The family request that donation be made to Simpson Methodist Church, 915 Logan St., Alta Vista, Kansas 66834.
