Lanny R. Partch

Lanny R. Partch, 70, of Salina, passed away, Saturday, January 11 at Salina Regional Health Center. Lanny was born October 20, 1943 in Salina to Leo R. and Martha J. (Appleby) Partch. He was a lifetime resident of Salina except for a few years in Anaheim, California, where he helped his dad in various restaurants. Lanny will be remembered for the way he touched others' lives through his kind and loving nature and his courageous strength through difficult health issues. He was a wonderful son who deeply loved his parents, who preceded him in death. Survivors include a brother, Doug Partch, of Omaha, Nebraska; sister, Bonnie Friend, of Ravenswood, West Virginia, aunt and uncle, Helen and Armand Balthazor, of Concordia, Kansas; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other wonderful people who helped in his care. Visitation will be at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 17. A funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 18th at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home with Pastor Loren Houltberg, officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
