Laurene S. Pridey

Laurene S. Pridey, 81, of Minneapolis, Kansas, passed away Monday, May 23rd, at Salina Regional Health Center. Laurene was born in Minneapolis, Kansas on February 4, 1935, a daughter of the late Dotha (Heberly) and Floyd Larson. She was very active at the First United Methodist Church in Minneapolis, including Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School teacher, Vacation Bible School Director and teacher, Rock Club Teacher and helper, Mission committee chair and missionary contact. Survivors include son, Sam Pridey, of Minneapolis, Kansas; grandchildren, Carli Rudder (Adam), Louis Pridey (Rosie); great grandchildren, Jonathan Rudder, Jerimiah Rudder, Caleb Rudder. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gale; infant son, Charles; and grandson, Samuel. At the family's request there will be no visitation as cremation will take place.
