Salina, KS Leroy B Harris Leroy B. Harris, 75, of New Cambria passed away December 27, 2014 at Salina Regional Health Center. Leroy was born in Salina on December 17, 1939, to the late Enoch B. and Gertrude (Cochran) Harris. He attended Salina High School and joined the Air Force in 1956. He joined to work on the new B-52 bombers. Following his service he was a mechanic for many years at Salina Transit Company. Leroy was a lifelong car nut and a member of the Hudson Club, for over 40 years. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Marilyn R. Harris, of New Cambria, Kansas; his children, Harlan (Cindy) Kamm, of Spokane, Washington, Edward (Denise) Harris, of Columbia, Missouri, David (Ruth) Harris, of Dallas, Texas, Annie (Mark) Snow, of Montello, Wisconsin, and Enoch Harris of Salina; sister, Harriet (Gary) Salts, of Hemet, California; as well as grandchildren, Lynelle, Kristi, Amber, Clinton, Eric, McKenzy, Zachary, and Rebecca; 21 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Marilyn Quinley Boedecker. Cremation has been chosen and a celebration of Leroy's life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Leroy's name to Hospice of Salina, 730 Holly Lane, Salina, Kansas 67401.
