Linda Jane Kromer, 71, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, August 28th, 2019. Linda was born in Manhattan, Kansas on February 16, 1948, a daughter of the late Betty (Hill) and Earl Kleiner. Linda’s passion were the Boy Scouts of America and all creatures. She was a key member of the Boy Scouts of America for over 40 years, known as the "Craft Lady". Those of us who were blessed enough to be in Linda’s family circle feel an emptiness that is hard to describe. And while the circumstances of her death make it hard to accept that she’s gone, we choose to concentrate on her life and the beauty she left behind. Because of (Granny) Linda, we will forever believe in the power of goodness, mercy, and love. We will cling to compassion and empathy. We will see what’s right in the world instead of what’s wrong. We will be lovers of peace. We will value the important things in life – family, friends, and health This is her legacy. Survivors include two sons, Kurtis Kromer (Naomi), Kristopher Kromer (Tammy), both of Salina; step-son, John Kromer, Jr., of Wichita, Kansas; sisters, Nancy Wiard (David), of Viola, Kansas, Delaine Kleiner, of Manhattan, Kansas. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Kromer.
