Lois Irene Davis

Lois Irene Davis, 91, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Friday, May 6th, at Salina Regional Health Center. Lois was born in Jetmore, Kansas on February 8, 1925, a daughter of the late Mabel (Ruff) and William K. Lupfer. She worked as a registered nurse in Wichita before retiring. Lois is survived by sons, Michael Davis, of Salina, Kansas, and Kerry Davis, of Estes Park, Colorado; brother, William (Grace) Lupfer, of Hanston, Kansas; as well as grandchildren; Chris and Nick Davis, of Salina, and Leigha Peterson, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jessica Nowell of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 5 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Davis; sister, Anne Tedford; and daughter, Janice Nowell. Visitation will be Thursday, May 12, from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Graveside service will be held Friday, May 13 at Resthaven Cemetery in Wichita. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
