Lonnie Lee Schulze

Lonnie Lee Schulze, 72, of Salina, passed away Tuesday, July 12th, at the Mitchell County Hospital, in Beloit. Lonnie was born in Norton, Kansas on August 8, 1943, to Alma (Wudkte) Schulze and the late Leo Schulze. He was the husband of Jeanne (Wunsch) Schulze. They were married April 3, 1972 in Fort Collins, Colorado. Lonnie worked as a soil conservationist for the Department of Agriculture. He was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Salina. Survivors include his wife, Jeanne, of Salina; daughters, Loni Schulze, of Salina, Kansas, and Lori McCourtney, and her husband Douglas, of Salina; son, Clint Schulze, and his wife Monica , of Phoenix, Arizona; step daughter, Kenda Bultman, and her husband Nathan, of Lansing, Michigan; step sons Kevin Caylor, and his wife Lisanne, of Los Angeles, California, Jeffrey Caylor, and his wife Pam, of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Kris Caylor, and his wife Linda, of Parker, Colorado; brothers, Dennis Schulze, and his wife Marcia, of Twin Falls, Idaho, and Dale Schulze, and his wife Rosalie, of Norton, Kansas; sister, Donna Thomas, of Norton, Kansas; and foster daughter, Dotty Rasmussen, and her husband Travis, of Hagerman, Idaho; as well as 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Lonnie was preceded in death by his father. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 18, 2016 at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home. Family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at Christ the King Lutheran Church, at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19th, with Rev. Calvin E. Reinke officiating.
