Lorraine "Sis" Hale

Lorraine 'Sis' Hale Lorraine “Sis” Hale, 94, of Abilene, Kansas passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Abilene Memorial Hospital in Abilene. She was born in Council Grove, Kansas September 9, 1921, the daughter of Jacob and Ida (Miller) Longhofer. She was a seamstress most of her life. On September 1, 1962, she was united in marriage to Archie H. Hale. He preceded her in death on December 4, 2009. She is survived by her daughter Mary McDaniel and husband James of Abilene. Her grandchildren are Greg Pierce and wife Phyllis of Abilene, Jennifer Campbell and husband Michael of Brighton, Colorado, Kimberly Moravec and husband Stephen of Grand Junction, Colorado. Her great grandchildren are Julia Pierce, Brionna, Ashley, and Bobby Moravec, Nathaniel and Alijah Gurule. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Archie, parents, 12 brothers and sisters, daughter Carol Jean Pierce and granddaughter Laura Pierce. Cremation has been chosen by family.
