Salina, KS Marianne K. Mitchell Marianne K. Mitchell, 91, of Salina, passed away Thursday, August 18th, 2011. Marianne was born in Germany on July 4, 1920. She worked as a Librarian at Marymount College Salina, Kansas, for 30 years. Her son: Jurgen Meyer of Nordenstadt, Germany survives. Marianne is preceded in death by her son: Klaus Dieter Meyer. A graveside service will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Salina, Kansas, at 10:00 am on Monday, August 22nd. There will be no viewing. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Salina Presbyterian Manor, 2601 E. Crawford, Salina, Kansas.
