Marianne Irene Meyer, 74, of Minneapolis, Kansas, passed away Sunday, July 19th, 2026.

Marianne was born in Lander, Wyoming on February 21, 1952, to Berniece (Bordahl) and Lacy Cowan. She grew up in Denver, Colorado, alongside her two sisters, Donna and Sheryl.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters.

She and her husband made their way to Salina, Kansas where they built a home filled with love and laughter.

Marianne had a zest for life that was infectious. She was known for her ability to make those around her laugh, uplifting spirits with her feisty yet kind-hearted nature. Her soul was one that truly appreciated the beauty of the world. This love was mirrored in her passions for reading and art, through which she found endless avenues to express her creativity and curiosity.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Marianne will remember her as a woman of good heart and generous spirit. Her laughter and kindness left and indelible mark on everyone she met, and her memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Meyer; daughter, Melanie Back (Jeremy Gehrke); two sons, Daniel Meyer and Kenneth Meyer (Samantha Anderson).

She is also survived by grandchildren, Reid Back, Leo Anderson, and Capri Anderson.

In accordance with Marianne's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be announced later.
