Marjorie Pauline Duvall, 95, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, September 6th, 2016. Marjorie was born in Simpson, Kansas on July 17, 1921, a daughter of the late Laura Mabel (Smith) and Hiram Caleb Duvall. She worked at a munitions factory in Lawrence, Kansas during World War II and was a Blue Cross/Blue Shield Insurance claims clerk at St. John's Hospital. Marjorie was a lifetime member of the American Business Women’s Association and the sewing circle at the First United Methodist Church, where she was a longtime member. Survivors include nieces, Eydie Foltz, of Manhattan, Kansas; Cheri Nienke, of Andover, Kansas, Karen Schroeder, of Osborne, Kansas, Sandra White, of Kansas City, Kansas, Kathy Duvall, of Omaha, Nebraska, Linda Landrum, of Portland, Oregon; and nephew, Marc Duvall, of Marysville, Kansas. She is preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Visitation will be held Friday, September 9, from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, Salina. The family will greet friends from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am, on Saturday, September 10th at First United Methodist Church, Salina, Kansas, with Pastor Eric Rook officiating. Burial will follow at Gypsum Hill Cemetery Salina, Kansas.
