Mark Earl Tyler

Mark Earl Tyler, 49, of Sylvan Grove, lost his battle with cancer Sunday, May 6, 2012. He passed away at home with loved ones by his side. Mark was born January 25, 1963 in Spencerport, New York, the son of Earl Tyler and Margaret (Stone)Doane. He resided in Sylvan Grove, Kansas, moving there in August of 2011. He lived most of his younger life with his Mom and Stepdad in various cities in Ohio and Texas. He lived in Texas in his 20's. Hewas an OTR Truck Driver for a good many years before settling in Iowa to be near his Grandfather Stone. Mark is survived by a special friend, Susan Spiller, of Sylvan Grove; his parents Earl Tyler of Rochester, New York, and Margaret Doane (Ray) of Cody, Wyoming; a brother, Paul Tyler (Cyndy) of Palm Bay, Florida; a sister, Michele Tyler-Doud (Stephen) of Spencerport, NY; 6 daughters, Jennifer Dorsey (Donnie) of Euless, Texas; Christina Tyler-Mayo of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Karen Poulin, Ashley Poulin, Emily Poulin and Rebecca Poulin all of Nora Springs, Iowa; as well as 4 grandchildren. His grandparents preceded Mark in death. A memorial service will be held in September allowing his family to gather for his celebration of life. He will be cremated. Memorial contributions may be made in Mark's name to Tammie Walker Cancer Center, Salina, Kansas.
