Martin Leroy Amos

Martin LeRoy Amos, 80, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Monday, December 7th, 2020. Martin was born in Marion, Ohio on March 16, 1940, a son of the late Mildred Marie (Miller) and Harold Pearle Amos. He worked for the Ottawa County Highway Department. On September 3, 1963, Martin married Mary Simmons at the Grace Baptist Temple in Salina. Survivors include his wife, Mary Amos; three daughters, Jeanita "Nita" Rongish, (Gregg)of McPherson, Mary Rice, (Bob) of Salina, Marcia Amos, of Salina; son, Robert Amos, of Salina; 7 grandchildren, Teresa Lyle, Trisha Lyle, Devin Lyle, Kuta Thompson, Mary Beth Greenlee (Marvin), Joshua Rice, Sarah Rice; 5 great grandchildren; two sisters, Sue Conyac, of Salina, Maxine Cellman, of Marion, Ohio; and brother, Don Amos, (Carol) of Marion, Ohio. He is preceded in death by 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Private family burial was held at Gypsum Hill Cemetery in Salina.
