Mary L. Russ, 89, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Sunday, April 1st. Mary was born in Cottondale, Florida on August 6, 1928, a daughter of the late Hattie (Speights) and Lloyd White. She worked as a production line attendant at Tony's Pizza Service 20 years in Salina, and she also worked at St. John's Hospital for 10 years. She was a faithful member of the Quayle United Methodist Church, and the University United Methodist Church, and served as an usher. She was the widow of Edward Russ Sr. Survivors include four daughters, Bonnie Thompson of Kansas City, Kansas, and Judy (Charles) Gadson, Gloria (Jimmie) Richardson, and Michelle (Michael) Lewis, all of Salina, Kansas; Three sons, Michael (Angelia) Russ of Dacula, Georgia, and Edward Russ Jr., and Richard (Shannon) Russ, all of Salina. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and nine great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by six brothers, five sisters, and one grandchild. Visitation will be at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home Friday, April 6th, from 1:00 to 7:00 PM, with the family present from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Saturday, April 7, at University United Methodist Church 1509 S. Santa Fe, with Reverend Geniese Stanford officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to University United Methodist Church, sent in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio St.
