Mary "Leila" Thompson

Mary "Leila" (Kibbe) Thompson, 74, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Sunday, May 22nd, 2022 Mary was born in Higgins, Texas on October 3, 1947, a daughter of the late Mary Jane (Beanman) and George Kibbe. Leila owned and operated Leila's Crafts and Gifts in Kraft Manor. On September 4, 1995, Leila married James "Jim" Thompson. Survivors include her husband, Jim Thompson; three daughters, Christina Kober, of Great Bend, Kansas, Buffy Rohrig, of Salina, Kansas, Dena Wilson, of Concord, North Carolina; three sons, James Rohrig Jr., of Salina, Kansas, Scott Rohrig (Julie), of Salina, Kansas, James Thompson, of Portland, Oregon; 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; and brother, Robert Kibbe (Deana), of Wichita, Kansas. Cremation has been chosen. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, May 27th at Carlson - Geisendorf Funeral Home & Crematory, Salina.
