Maryetta Ruth Gill, 79, of Salina, Kansas, went home to be with the Lord Monday, May 27th, 2019. Maryetta was born in Salina, Kansas on December 9, 1939. She was a gardner, homemaker, and loved to cook and camp. Survivors include a daughter, Terese Gill; son, Jeff Gill (Roxane) of Lindsborg; sister, Jolene Clark; brother, Randy D. Moffet (Chrissie); grandchildren, Danny and Kelly Verhoeff, Tyler and Trevor Gill; nieces and nephews, Abby McFadden (Brad), Amy Harris, Brandi Matos (Will), Angela Brown, Scott Clark, June Nava (Illario), James Clark, and Clifford Clark. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack of 54 years; her father Alva O. Hoyt; her parents Theada C. and Roy E. Moffet; a baby sister, Sandra Sue; uncles, David and Leo Moffet; and aunts, Gracie Kisick, Ida Mae, and Alice. Visitation will be Thursday, May 30th from 1:00 to 8:00 pm at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio Street, Salina, with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral service will be Friday, May 31 at 11:00 am at the funeral home, with Pastor Gene Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Gypsum Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Faith Baptist Church, sent in care of the funeral home.
