Mr. Max R. Harz, 80, of Salina passed asay Tuesday, May 17th, 2011. He was born in Linn, Kansas on September 3, 1930, the son of the late Frank D. and Thelma T. (Woody) Harz. Max served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He earned a Bachelor's Degree from Kansas Wesleyan University. He was a postal worker, and also worked as a taxi driver. Max is survived by his sisters, Virginia Munninger of Kanopolis, KS, and Sharon Perry of Emporia, KS; as well as 2 nieces and 4 nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Raymond Harz. Inurnment has already taken place at Roselawn Memorial Park. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, with Pastor Steve Holmes officiating.
