Mildred B Nunn, 81, of Salina, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, November 28th, at Salina Presbyterian Manor. Mildred was born January 12, 1931 in Rural Ottawa County, Kansas to the late George and Laura (Chrisman) Berry. She was united in marriage to Raymond P. Nunn, Sr. They enjoyed over 50 years of marriage. Mildred had a deep love of her family. As a nature lover she enjoyed her flower gardens. Her love for art transferred into many paintings for family and friends. Mildred always had a smile on her face for everyone she met. She had taught Sunday school at the Nazarene Church in Minneapolis, Kansas. Mildred also worked for some time at the Ottawa County Historical Museum. Mildred is survived by her son, Martin (Susan) Nunn, of Salina; daughter, Bonnie (Mark) Neubrand, of Salina; as well as her grandchildren, Robin (Cy) Wiggans, Miranda (David) Pierce, Jered Nunn, Staci (Jamie) Bowers, and Ashley (Jake) Scoville; and great grandchildren, Seth Schraml, Nathan Wiggans, Addison Pierce, Skylar Pierce, Jacob Scoville, Lauren Scoville, Ben Scoville, Tanner Bowers, Dylan Bowers, Grace Bowers, and Devin Bowers. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Raymond P. Nunn, Sr.; son, Raymond P. Nunn, Jr., as well as her sisters, Gloria and Laura; and brother, George. Friends are invited to call from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 30, 2012 at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, with family greeting friends from 6:00 to 8:00. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday at the funeral home. Intement will follow at Greenville Cemetery in Niles, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salina Animal Shelter, 329 N. 2nd, Salina, Kansas 67401.
