Minerva R. Aranda

Minerva Rodriguez Aranda, 88, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Sunday, July 7th, 2024.

Minerva was born in Ft. Worth, Texas on August 4, 1935, a daughter of Librada (Garcia) Montoy and Alonzo Rodriguez.

Survivors include two daughters, Alma Jaquez, Marta Retana (Juan), both of Salina; two sons, Oscar Aranda Jr. (Jill), of Summerville, South Carolina, Noe Ovalle (Linda), of Salina.

She is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren; and 7 great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Oscar Aranda Sr.; brothers, Noe and Gaspar; and granddaughter, Angelina Montoya.

Cremation has been chosen and no services are planned.

Minerva will be placed next to her husband at Kansas Veterans Cemetery later.
