Monika Marie Oberle Monika Marie Oberle, 28, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2013 Monika was born in Kansas City, Missouri on August 20, 1985, daughter of Kathleen A. Oberle Survivors include her mother, Kathe Oberle; sister, Barbara Herspring and husband Kyle, of Atwood, Kansas; niece, Grace; and nephew, Grant. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Phil and Irene Oberle. At the family's request there will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, January 4th, 2014 at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, Salina, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made in Monika's name to Central Kansas Mental Health Center,809 Elmhurst Blvd, Salina, KS 67401 or to help with funeral expenses.
