Naomi Dean Nelson

Naomi Dean Nelson, 78, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Thursday, April 16th, 2020. Naomi was born in Dearing, Kansas on September 9, 1941, the daughter of the late Vern and Vergie (Copeland) Walker. She worked at Philips Lighting for 16 years. Survivors include her husband, Floyd Nelson; three daughters, Francee Cox, (Doug Ochs), of Salina, Paula Tomlins, (Byron), of Salina, Peggy Jean Hughes, (Pat), of Guam; son, John Hiebsch, (Wendy), of Wichita. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Cremation has been chosen. A private family memorial service will be held. Interment will take place at Gypsum Hill Cemetery Salina, Kansas. Donations may be made to First Southern Baptist Church, for Missions, in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio, Salina, Kansas 67401.
