Norma Jean Zoch

Norma Jean Zoch, 81, of Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away Sunday, April 17th, at Hutchinson Health and Rehab, Kansas. Norma was born in Diller, Nebraska on December 21, 1934, a daughter of the late Leola V. (Williams) and Merle A. Rhoden. Her younger years were spent in Fairbury, Nebraska where she attended grade school and junior high school at Central Ward. On May 24, 1952, Norma married Edgar August George Zoch in Fairbury, Nebraska. Born to this union were 6 sons and 2 daughters. Edgar preceded her in death on May 18, 1993. She was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Hutchinson, Kansas. Survivors include six sons, Edward Zoch (Terri), of Salina, Kansas; Delvin Zoch (Debora), of Hutchinson, Kansas; Lawrence Zoch (Linda), of Huntington Beach, California; James Zoch (Vicki), of Oconto, Wisconsin; Roger Zoch, of Iron Mountain, Michigan; Charles Zoch (Jana), of Huntington Beach, California; two daughters, Cheryl Zoch-Hodges of Florence, Wisconsin and Vickie Zoch of Florence, Wisconsin; brothers, Wayne Rhoden (Reta) of Chubbuck, Idaho, Vernon Rhoden of Ellsworth, Kansas, Dennis Rhoden (Lori) of Niles, Kansas, sister, Barbara Schwartz of Beatrice, Nebraska. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 10 step-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband; sisters, Marie Ann Rhoden and Amelia Katherine Rhoden; grandchildren, Ryan Zoch and Jennifer Zoch. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 21 from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, Salina, Kansas. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Leonard Lickteig officiating. Interment will be at Gypsum Hill Cemetery Salina, Kansas.
