Orville Lee “Bouncer” Crowder, 66, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, April 15th, while in the company of family members, at Salina Regional Health Center. Orville was born in Salina, Kansas on December 26, 1948 to the late Grace Irene (Roseberry) and Melvin Ray Crowder, Sr. Bouncer was the owner of Crowder hot roofing and Crowder Rentals. He was the husband of Brenda D. (Fillmore) Crowder. She survives. Other survivors include his sons, Michael Lee, husband of Jaime Crowder, of Salina, Jeffry Allen, husband of Stacey Crowder, of Greenville, North Carolina, and Lance Michael, husband of Angel Zurfluh, of Gypsum, Kansas; brother, Melvin Ray Crowder, Jr., and his wife Sharon; sister, Jennifer Lynn, and her husband Kevin Kerr, of Lawrence, Kansas; as well as grandchildren, Alexi Mai, Drew Mai, Simon, Margaret, Spencer, Evan, Reed, Emma, and Karlee Zurfluh; and great-grandchildren, Shelby, Aiden, and Oaklan. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Clinton Crowder. Family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, April 19, at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 20th, with Pastor Loren Forbes officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salina Animal Shelter, 329 N. 2nd, Salina, Kansas 67401; or to the Children’s Mercy Hospital; 2401 Gillham Rd., Kansas City, Kansas 64108.
