Oscar Aranda, Sr., 87, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, November 21st, 2017. Oscar was born in Laredo, Texas on August 28, 1930, a son of the late Maria and Antonio Aranda. Survivors include wife, Minerva Aranda of the home; two daughters, Alma Jaquez, Marta Retana (Juan); son, Oscar Aranda Jr. (Jill); step son, Noe Ovalle (Linda) all of Salina, Kansas; ten grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by granddaughter, Angelina Montoya; brother, Refugio Aranda and Antonio Aranda. Military honors will be given at the graveside service at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery, 5181 Wildcat Creek Rd., Manhattan, Kansas 66503.
