Patricia Ann Carver, 70, of Salina, Kansas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. A devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and beautiful smile.

Pat was born in Topeka, Kansas, on June 28, 1955, daughter of Emogine (Carter) and Gerald Winterscheidt.

Pat’s love and warmth touched everyone who knew her. As a hospice caretaker, she offered care, comfort, and compassion to many during their most difficult moments, guided by her Catholic faith and a deep belief in serving others with love and grace. The same compassion she shared with others was felt most deeply by those she loved at home. Family was the center of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with those closest to her. Not a day went by where she didn't talk about how much her children and family meant to her. Pat also found joy in the simple, meaningful moments—sitting in the sun, playing cards, watching scary movies, and savoring a warm chai latte.

Pat was a wonderful woman until the very end, and she will be greatly missed. Her faith was a source of comfort and strength throughout her life, sustaining her in all things. Her love will continue to live on through the many lives she touched. Her family deeply mourns her loss and will forever cherish the joy and love she brought into their lives.

She is survived by her children: Matthew Carver of Miltonvale, Kansas; LaShon Turner (Jeffrey) of New Cambria, Kansas; Clayton Carver of Massachusetts; and Kyle Carver of Colorado. She also leaves behind her brother, Paul Daniel Winterscheidt of Ephraim, Utah; grandchildren Brittany May, Logan Turner (Katelan), Landen Turner (Zoë), Brendan Barnes, Gabe Seal, Jordan Chapman (Jayson), Elijah Carver, and Jaxen Carver; and great-grandchildren Noah, Mason, Aurora, Merida, Bowyn, Gracyn, Thatcher, Juniper, Archer, and River.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and granddaughter, Hannah Seal.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 29th at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home in Salina, Kansas.

Burial will follow at Crown Point Cemetery, Culver, Kansas.
