Patsy "Joann" Weir

Patsy JoAnn Weir, 77, of Wakefield, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, March 19th, at Salina Regional Health Center. JoAnn was born in Rural Clay County, Kansas on April 10, 1935, to the late Mildred (McNeil) and Harold Stoneback. She married William Weir on January 9, 1952 in Clay Center, Kansas. JoAnn was the office manager and co-owner of Weir Machine Works, which she operated with her husband William. She was also a past member of the Wakefield chapter of The Order of the Eastern Star. JoAnn is survived by a daughter, Rita, wife of Bill Caley, of Wakefield, Kansas; three sons Dan, husband of Louanne Weir, of Clay Center, Kansas; Sam, husband of Joyce Weir, of Wakefield, Kansas; Randy, husband of Tracy Weir, of Wakefield, Kansas; 10 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister. Cremation has been selected and services will be announced at a later date.
