Ramon M. Rodriguez, 58, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014. Ramon was born in Abrego, Zacatecas, Mexico on August 25, 1956, a son of Catalina (Magallanes) Rodriguez, of Salina, Kansas and the late Ascension Rodriguez. He worked as a Line operator at Exide Technologies. He was the husband of Maria Rodriguez. Survivors include his mother, Catalina Rodriguez; his wife; Maria of Salina, Kansas, two daughters; Cristina Rodriguez, of Salina, Kansas and Mariela Rodriguez, of Kansas City, Kansas, two sons; Juan Rodriguez and wife, Ferlyn of Salina, Kansas and Ramon Rodriguez, Jr. of Lawrence, Kansas, three brothers; Salvador Rodriguez, of Salina, Kansas; Miguel Rodriguez, of Salina, Kansas and Hector Rodriguez, of Salina, Kansas, eight sisters; Sara Rodriguez, of Fresnillo, Mexico, Maria L. Rodriguez, of Salina, Kansas, Maria C. Rodriguez, of Salina, Kansas, Aurelia Rodriguez, of Salina, Kansas, Raquel Picazo, of Salina, Kansas, Irma Rodriguez, of Fresnillo, Mexico, Celia Panuco, of Salina, Kansas, Bertha Jasso, of Salina, Kansas; and 3 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father and brother, Jose Manuel Rodriguez. Visitation will be Sunday, November 16, 2014 from 1:00 PM - 5:30 PM at Carlson - Geisendorf Funeral Home with the Rosary Service following at 7:00 pm Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Salina. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral at 12:00 pm on Monday, November 17th, 2014 with Father Gail Hammerschmidt officiating.
